They are delivered in strip as well as heavy plate products and are delivered in thickness from 0.7 to 160 mm. Strenx® meet and exceed requirements of European standards in terms of mechanical properties, flatness and dimensional tolerances. Strenx® steels are designed in order to decrease weight of structural parts by applying higher strength steels with lower thickness. Typical applications are: mining, yellow goods, heavy transportation, agriculture, lifting and complex load bearing structures.
Strenx® 700 MC steel used instead of S355 steel can be up to 30% thinner. As a consequence, any upgraded structure will be 30% lighter and depending on application, it can transport more goods, reach higher and save fuel as well as will have less CO2 emissions.
