Abraservice manufactures wear-resistant parts and engineered components using Hardox® round bars.
Hardox® round bars provide a proven combination of hardness and toughness, making them suitable for abrasive and high-impact environments. Abraservice uses Hardox® round bars to manufacture engineered components designed to extend service life in demanding industrial applications.
Like Hardox® wear plate, Hardox® round bars deliver consistent performance in severe wear conditions. Their mechanical properties make them a reliable choice for equipment operating in harsh environments.
Hardox® 400 round bars are available in diameters from 40.0 to 100.0 mm, while Hardox® 500 round bars are available from 40.0 to 160.0 mm. Standard lengths are up to 5,000 mm. The bars are delivered already through-hardened for consistent hardness from the surface to the core. Please contact our sales team to confirm current availability.
Hardox® hot-rolled round bars are an efficient alternative to components traditionally cut from plate. They offer good machinability and can be welded without preheating in many applications, helping to reduce workshop lead times.
Standard welding methods can be used to join Hardox® round bars to any weldable steel. The bars can also be machined to tight tolerances for demanding components such as axles, pins and couplings.
