Hardox^® hot-rolled round bars are an efficient alternative to components traditionally cut from plate. They offer good machinability and can be welded without preheating in many applications, helping to reduce workshop lead times.

Standard welding methods can be used to join Hardox® round bars to any weldable steel. The bars can also be machined to tight tolerances for demanding components such as axles, pins and couplings.
